During the 6th and 7th of August 2019, OWAC, in its headquarters, had a meeting with the representatives of “Hangzhou Juhua Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.”, in order to see the plant for the urban waste treatment, designed and built in the last years by OWAC in the industrial district of Catania, and also to establish a solid cooperation for designing and building cutting-edge solutions for waste treatment and the environmental protection in China in respect of the new environment polities in the Country.
With the Hangzhou company, met during the international Fair IE EXPO at Shanghai in April 2019, therefore the internationalization process that OWAC has recently undertaken is going on. This internationalization process, from January 2019, for about 18 months, has concerned an intense program of activities in China (funded by the European Community through the action 3.4.2 of the PO-FESR Sicily 2014-2020) aimed at finding strategic partners to promote highly technological solutions for environmental protection, pollution reduction and improvement of the quality of life of local population.
